Highlands’ offer a variety of ways to join our community: Join as either a permanent bond-holding/voting member or as a summer privilege holder. All membership types have the same access to Club facilities, teams, activities, and community. We also offer Midsummer Guest Passes, described in more detail below for waitlisted applicants that start toward the end of July.

Permanent Memberships

Family Membership
Includes full membership privileges and full use of all club facilities for your immediate family, including and limited to family members living in your household: couple/domestic partner, unmarried children, grandparents, and live-in help. Please note that nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, or grandchildren visiting during the summer will need to use guest tickets, which may be purchased online or in person.

Empty Nester
Includes full membership privileges and full use of all club facilities for a couple/domestic partners with no children living at home and at least one spouse 65 or older. Guest tickets may be purchased for other individuals.

Single Membership
Includes full membership privileges and full use of all club facilities for yourself only, with no use by children or other individuals. Guest tickets may be purchased for other individuals.

Summer Privilege Holder

Summer Privilege Holders are renewed each year, and have the same access to Club facilities, teams, activities, and community as Permanent Members, except they cannot vote on Club business. The primary difference is that a Permanent Membership is better economically starting in the fifth year of your membership. See the application for the latest dues breakdown.

​We offer a Midsummer Guest Pass to those on the wait list, toward the end of June and early July in the order of oldest to most recent. We have a limited number of Midsummer Guest Passes, so not everyone on the waitlist will receive an invitation. Invitations will be sent until we are full for Midsummer Guest Passes.

To be on the waiting list, you must submit an application for membership and a $50 application fee. The Midsummer Guest Pass allows full use of the club (with the exception of team participation) toward the end of July through the close of the pool (typically the weekend after Labor Day), pro-rated at the Summer rate. You may sign up for a Midsummer by responding to the email sent out by the club toward the end of June/early July.
